ACTION BOARDS

We aim to elevate the voices of those with lived experience. Our Action Boards are made for adults and youth with recent, lived experience with homelessness or housing insecurity. By bringing people together who have experienced homelessness or housing instability in our community, we help ensure they have opportunities to influence policy and meaningful change within the CoC.

COMMUNITY ACTION BOARD

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) provides opportunities for adults (ages 25+) to share their stories in a safe space in order to improve housing polices, processes, programs and services in the continuum of care. CAB participants should have recent, lived expertise with housing instability and/or homelessness as they actively participate in every sector of our work including funding processes, reviewing housing programs, and beyond.

YOUTH ACTION BOARD

The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) creates opportunities for young adults who are 16 to 24 years old and are interested in using their lived experiences to create solutions to local housing issues. YAB is a place where members have space to have elevate their voice in decision-making processes, advise on policies, and advocate on behalf of youth and young adults who are experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
